Nancy Drew: Legend of the Crystal Skull is the seventeenth episode in the Nancy Drew video games series develped by Her Interactive. This title is based on the book The Mardi Gras Mystery.

This instalment of the series is an outstanding improvement over the last game, Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek. This time you are taken into an intriguing story, with incredible ambiance and lots of puzzles in New Orleans.
Nancy, the young detective travels there with her friend Bess and by request of her boyfriend she goes to check up on a casual acquaintance of his, Henry Bolet. Here begins the story which will include some incredible features as well as intelligent dialogues.

This point-and-click adventure doesn't reach the maddening level of difficulty that some other games do, but is not easy at all. One remarkable point is the opportunity to play the role of Bess this noticeable improvement is a refreshing change for the series.

All in all this title is still one of the most realistic and compelling games of the Nancy Drew series yet thanks to a variety of amazing characters, a well designed terrifying atmosphere, and challenging puzzles.
There is no trial version of this game but on the site you can find mini-game.
